Our Styles

Are you looking to be a champion?

Are you looking to train under a "champion"?

Do you require a "lineage" to justify your existence?

Are you looking to "get fit"?

Are you looking for a sport application that is marketable?

Are you looking to be "high profile"?

If you answer "yes"  to any of these questions, we are not for you.

If you want to prevail when it counts, if you want satisfaction for yourself,

Then we might be for you.

In FMA London, we do our best to avoid everything that has a "sport" application. We try to teach for things aimed more at the street, not the ring and, when we say "might", we fully acknowledge

we are not invincible and we are not for everyone.

But, we will surely try to help you to find the path you require, even if it isn't with us.

The only thing that is 100% guaranteed,  is the effort you put into finding your path in life.

Personal knowledge of how you work is what will help you prevail.

The "mcdojo" mentality has never saved anyone's life and doing something exactly like the guy

before you, will only work in rare instances. Especially if his only claim is in the ring.

  We can offer tuition in improvised weaponry as well;
Flexible weapons (straps, belts, clothing, etc.)
Hand held objects (hair brush, loose change, writing instruments etc.)
We can even offer classes in the use of walking canes
and control and restraint, when needed.
Damien has taught police, close protection personnel, security of all levels, including door supervisors in both the US and UK.
The biggest problem with today’s "society" is laws against you actually arming yourself in an increasingly proven, more violent society for defensive purposes. So, we take the approach to utilizing an improvisational mentality if, and when, the situation occurs.

We cover multiple ranges of fighting:, including:

Largo (long range; long stick,  medium weapon range and limb striking)
Medio (medium range, medium range weapons, punching and kicking range and knife)
Corto (close range; Knife, knees, elbows and grappling range)

and then some.

In the non-sporting side, we train in footwork for multiple opponent tactics and improvisational objects for defense.
